Let me start by stating that I am not a typical McNabb-bashing Eagles fan.  While there is no doubt he's not what he used to be - I think Donovan McNabb is a big reason why the Eagles have had a good run over the past 7 or 8 years.  I've always thought he was a winner, still do.  It's hard to name more than 5 quarterbacks over the past decade who have played better than has.

With that all being said, there is no excuse to not knowing the rules.  He didn't know that two teams could tie in a regular season NFL game.  This is flat-out unacceptable.
