The bar is set so low right now for Sarah Palin, I think she will surprise some people and do an adequate job.  Because much of debate scoring is based on setting low expectations - and then exceeding those expectations, I think she'll be able to make this happen.

Please note, I'm saying adequate job. By this I mean I expect her performance to improve slightly from the train wreck that was the Katie Couric interview. I still expect a woeful performance compared to all other VP nominees throughout history, but I'm not expecting her to continue down the death spiral she's been in over the past couple weeks.

I expect Biden will do fine, but he should be very careful to not sound too condescending.  He should just let Sarah Palin make unforced errors. I'm sure there will be a few.
