The speech from Sarah Palin was pretty difficult to watch - I think we've officially entered the twilight zone.  She spoke about the Democrats expanding government, but what she didn't mention was that the current Republican administration has expanded government spending significantly over the past seven years - and John McCain has given the electorate no specific plans to prove he will actually change this course. She mocked community organizers (Barack Obama's job many years ago), claiming that they had no responsibility - when in fact, small government democratic models actually need community organizers. That's how groups of people get things done without big government-funded programs. She criticized Barack Obama's foreign policy, which is flat out comical given her background.  And finally, she pronounced Iraq like "Eye-Rack" - which is going to drive me insane over the next couple months.  At least I hope it's only a couple of months.
