Wow.  So I was away and unconnected for a few days and am finally back reading everything I can about the republican VP nominee, Sarah Palin. While I still have to educate myself a little more, there is no doubt John McCain has made a risky pick.  It seems to me that the "experience" argument is now pretty difficult for the Republicans to make.  Palin's resume includes being the mayor of Wasilla, Alaska (pop. ~6,700), director of indicted Ted Stevens' 527 group, and governor of Alaska for 1 year and 8 months. 

The VP debate could get ugly.
