A Clear Sky Olympics
Well, they did it. I'm not sure if we'll ever know how they did it, but China was able to pull off what many doubted they could do. Blue skies. This was surely a quick fix and not a long-term solution, but it is impressive (or lucky) nonetheless.
Got hand it to China. . . with few exections (e.g., gymnasts' age), they did a great job. Hope the pollution respite inspires them to make do it on a more regular basis. The shots of Beijing city were especially very impressive. Now if they can just get out of dark ages on social issues. Boomer
