Fred Kagan Thinks We Must Attack Iran

Fred Kagan says:

"Well, there’s nothing that we can do short of an attack to force Iran to give up its nuclear program. … At the end of the day, the only way that you can make for sure that [a nuclear arms race] doesn't happen is with an attack."

It's this kind Neoconservative logic that got us to where we are today. Attacking Iran would cause complete chaos in the Middle East and would basically guarantee war for decades to come. While I have no doubt the Kagans and Kristols of the world will always believe in this kind of hawkish foreign policy, I can only hope the American people are growing tired of it. You gotta love these "military historians" who (surprise, surprise) always seem to think war is the only option.

If Fred Kagan thinks we should attack Iran, then I think he should be on the front lines with the rest of our soldiers.
