On Jeopardy a few days ago, one of the questions (answers?) was "Who is D.B. Cooper?" The question asked was something like - who jumped out of plane in 1981 with $200k in ransom money and was never seen again? 

I had never heard of D.B. Cooper, but now I can't figure out why someone hasn't recently made a movie about this guy.  It's an incredible story to say the least. The hijack itself is amazing, but I'm more impressed by the fact that his identity is still unknown.  

There was a bad movie based on Cooper's story in 1981, but I think it's about time someone did it right.

UPDATE: This guy thinks he found Cooper in Oregon.
