    Shouldn't the curve resemble a "normal" yield curve, with a steep rise that then tails off after a period of time? I think as time increases, people get accustomed to the smell and the stench factor tails off. I don't have any data to work with, but I think around 5 minutes the stench should start to tail off. Perhaps I'll test this out in a public restroom later today.

    The y-axis represents the power of the stench not person's ability to withstand the stench.  And the x-axis represents the time you have to wait to get into the stall.  You usually don't get the full effect of the stench until you actually enter the stall. That said, there probably is a maximum stench that humans can generate, so the curve should level off at some point.
