The Un-McCain vote

Can someone explain to me the people who voted for Ron Paul and Mike Huckabee in today's PA Republican Primary?  Maybe I'm simplifying this a little too much, but I can only come up with the following answers:

  • People who really despise government, and think McCain represents another Bush term (16%)
  • Evangelicals who think McCain isn't religious enough to lead the country (11%)

I know this doesn't represent every person who has voted for these two throughout their campaigns, but what else could explain the 200,000+ people who voted for them today?  McCain has already locked up the nomination, so these are people who really wanted to send a message.
