My Pennsylvania primary prediction

My take on what happens after tonight's contest:
  • Hillary win of 10% or more:  She goes on and fights through June and maybe up to the convention.  Al Gore, Nancy Pelosi, and Howard Dean finally get her to drop out.
  • Hillary win of 5-9%:  She goes onto early June, but drops out when the funds start to dry up
  • Hillary win of 1-4%:  She stays on until mid-late May, but drops out when the funds start to dry up
  • Tie or Obama win:  She drops out by the end of this week.
My prediction is a 9% Clinton win - just enough to keep her in, but not enough to change the race.

UPDATE 9:34 PM:  In retrospect, picking an odd percentage margin in a two-candidate race was not one of my more brilliant decisions.

UPDATE 4/23:  When you take out the rounding by the major news stations, Hillary beat Barack 54.6% to 45.4%, for a 9.2% margin of victory.  It will be interesting to see how much money she can raise over the next few weeks.
